  19. <p>     Nothing wrong with taking a little Acapulco vacation without
  20. the children. When they're left behind with no adult supervision,
  21. though, it's a crime. David and Sharon Schoo of St. Charles,
  22. Illinois, found that out last week on returning from nine
  23. childless days in Mexico. The couple was arrested at O'Hare
  24. Airport and charged with felony child abandonment, cruelty to
  25. children and misdemeanor reckless endangerment for leaving alone
  26. daughters Nicole, 9, and Diana, 4. The girls were left with a
  27. refrigerator full of food and a note full of instructions--but
  28. no information on how to contact their parents. The children
  29. were found when a fire alarm went off and Nicole called 911. The
  30. girls are now in state custody.
